California set to become first state to ban caste discrimination

California lawmakers voted to ban discrimination based on caste, adding protections for people of South Asian descent. The bill heads to Gov. Gavin Newsom's desk and if signed will make the state the first to outlaw the practice. NBC News’ Gadi Schwartz reports.
